The Survival of a Small Business
10 years ago, Designer Yvonne Gillon set up Cami Confidential Ltd a specialised garment manufacturer in Cheshire UK, designing products to address body confidence issues in women around the world.
With the UK textile industry depleted Yvonne strives to keep all her garments UK made. It is important now more than ever the UK becomes once again self-reliant with Brexit closely looming.
At the age of 66 and having over 30 years success in designing, Yvonne is now retiring. Cami Confidential is now being taken over by daughter Kate and employee Katie to carry on the company ethos.
With four employees Cami Confidential will be celebrating it’s 10-year birthday this coming October. The company’s focus is to help women open their wardrobes by giving diverse looks. Attention is kept on the problem areas for many women – arms, décolletage, tummy and backs. Cami Confidential creates confidence and ends compromises.
Surviving as a small business for 10 years will be a big celebration for Cami Confidential, proving there is still a place for a little fish in a big pond.
